Following three episodes of the former, and two of the latter, HBO has picked up Girls and Veep for second seasons.
Girls, which has been the subject of controversy due to some critics taking issue with 25-year old star/creator Lena Dunham, centers around the lives of four young women in NYC. It debuted to 870,000 viewers.
Veep, which features Julia Louis-Dreyfus as an ambitious/frustrated Vice President, premiered to 1.4 million
Both are TV Fanatic favorites, with the most recent Girls review and most recent Veep review published last night.
