Dallas: Renewed for Season 2!

TNT will be heading back to Dallas next year.

The network announced today that the reincarnation of this beloved primetime soap opera has been renewed for season two. It will be comprised of 15 episodes and air in the summer of 2013.

“Dallas has been a success for us on every level: pitch-perfect writing, smart directing and buzz-worthy performances by a new generation of stars and their iconic counterparts,” said TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies programming head Michael Wright, adding: “It’s clear the Ewings of Southfork have once again captured the imagination of viewers.”

Earlier today, TNT also gave a green light to Rizzoli & Isles Season 4.
