Sharknado Trailer: Sharks! Tornadoes! Coming to Syfy!

It's a slow time in the television world - but the action is about to pick up on Syfy.

The cable network premieres Sharknado next Thursday night, an original movie whose premise is summed up by the title: It stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering as ex-spouses who come together to investigate why sharks are falling out of the Los Angeles sky.

It's a good question, isn't it?

Watch the preview now and don't worry if you end up DVRing Rookie Blue or Burn Notice next Thursday night so you can watch this live instead. We understand. We won't tell anyone.
