Following news that Mitch Hurwitz will guest star on an episode of Community Season 5, Vulture confirms that Tobias Funke himself will also stop by the NBC sitcom some time this winter.

Sources say that David Cross wil come on board for a follow-up to the 2011 classic episode "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons," appearing as Hank Hickey, the son of Jonathan Banks' Professor Hickey.

Look for Hank to join the study group for what an insider describes as "at the very least, the second most important game of Dungeons & Dragons ever."

The actor is on set this week to film his role, but an airdate for his episode is not yet known.

Community Season 5, though, will premiere on January 5. Finally.
