Erin Andrews is headed back to Dancing with the Stars. But this time she won't be wearing a ball gown.
At least not as a performer.
The former ESPN and current Fox Sports reporter will take over for Brooke Burke-Charvet as Season 18 co-host, joining Tom Bergeron on the ABC competition after Burke-Charvet 's unexpecting ousting late last week.
This news comes two days after Burke-Charvet released a statement saying that she had been let go from the hit series, expressing both gratitude and surprise.
“I’ve seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake," she said.
ABC is yet to comment on the move, but Andrews does have Dancing with the Stars experience. She placed third with Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Season 10.
