WWE RAW Recap: A Betty Whitewash

at .

Betty White opened WWE RAW this week, meaning things could only improve after a rather pointless opening segment.

It featured the long-time actress entering the ring with The Big Show, getting cut off by the Authority and receiving a few hugs from Triple H and Stephanie.

Randy Orton eventually entered, whined, complained, actually apologized and was made to look rather weak. Thank goodness Daniel Bryan finally got involved to amp up this segment.

Clearly being given a true chance to shine with CM Punk's sudden departure, Bryan was subsequently given the night off by Triple H.

But he still got a few punches in on Kane later, refusing to accept the big man's apology and then leading the Los Angeles crowd in a "YES!" chant.

As for some quickfire match results:

  • The Wyatt Family defeated Rey Mysterio & The Brotherhood.
  • Fandango (w/Summer Rae) defeated Santino Marella (w/Emma).
  • Sheamus & Christian defeated Real Americans.
  • Dolph Ziggler defeated Alberto Del Rio.
  • The Usos defeated Rybaxel.
  • Mark Henry defeated Dean Ambrose (w/The Shield) by DQ.
  • Cameron & The Bella Twins defeated AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka & Aksana.
  • John Cena defeated Randy Orton, countering an attempted RKO and hitting a standing legdrop before connecting with an AA. He celebrated with the crowd to end the show.
