Nic Bishop is making his move.

The veteran actor (Body of Proof, Castle, CSI, The Glades) has been cast as a series regular on Covert Affairs Season 5.

He will come on board the USA Network hit as Ryan McQuaid, a former Navy SEAL who is now billionaire private military contractor.

Look for McQuaid to meet Piper Perabo's Annie in the field and for them to become hesitant allies, though Annie will grow suspicious of the new character.

Covert Affairs Season 4 concluded with  Annie faking her own death and changing her identity to go deep undercover in order to take down Henry Wilcox.

Season 5 kicks off this summer.
