In a shocking turn on this week's Days of Our Lives, Sami saw the photos…in EJ's nightmare but we were given a vivid idea of how badly the future could look for EJami if the truth ever does come out.

Our TV Fanatics Nick McHatton and Christine Orlando are joined by MrsM from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives Fan Forum to discuss whether they thought the nightmare was real, if Gabi's as clueless as she seems, and more…

Did you think the scenes of Sami finding the pictures and the aftermath were real? Did you want them to be?

Nick: I thought it was since that's what Days has been advertising and promoting for weeks now, but the fake out was really a classic Days twist. Just when we think Sami has done it all over again, EJ trying to Dimera himself out of the situation, and Abigail really is pregnant it's revealed to be a series of thoughts in EJ's brain. When the truth does come out, I hope Sami really gives it to EJ even more so than he imagines possible.

MrsM:   I bought the dream sequence hook line and sinker. I was so hoping it was real, but as I was watching it I was pretty surprised we were getting the reveal already. I was really let down when it was just a dream.

Christine:  Absolutely thought it was real and it was amazing. I'd hate to see EJ and Sami completely destroyed but those scenes were so very powerful I almost wished it were real…up until the part where Sami pushed Abigail over the railing. That felt too contrived but the rest of it I absolutely loved. 

Does Gabi have any clue how much Nick is manipulating her?

Nick: I really, really hope so because otherwise Gabi is absolutely idiotic. I'm hoping that she is the one manipulating Nick and waiting for a chance to blackmail him into submission, and until she can do it she is letting everyone think she's falling for Nick all over again. Quite honestly, though, I'm ready for Nick's story with them to pick up. Like many Days stories right now, there's just a lot of boredom.

MrsM:  Gabi has zero clue as to what Nick is doing to her. I really don't like what they are doing with the relationship between the two and I cringe when I see how much Nick has her snowed.

Christine:  I honestly think Gabi's an idiot. The guy manipulates her over and over and she continues to fall for it. I just can't wait until one or both of them are gone. If it weren't for baby Ari I wouldn't care about Gabi at all. 

Were you surprised that Jennifer believed the stashed drugs were a set up and not Daniel's?

Nick: Jennifer has rose colored glasses on for her all mighty prince Daniel? Shocking! Daniel does no wrong in Jennifer's eyes, especially after learning the ruse with JJ was all a set up to keep him out of prison. Daniel could go around the Horton Town Square with an axe and she would believe his cause is righteous.

MrsM: I was surprised and relieved that Jennifer believed Daniel was set up. It is about darn time she had a little faith in that man. For as much as she supposedly loves him she never gives him the benefit of the doubt.

Christine:  It was a surprise and a relief. She's turned on Daniel so many times in the past, I really thought that this would just be another one of those times. And this time she had the most reason to doubt and she didn't. Strange, but I'll take it. 

Was JJ right to break things off with Paige before they'd barely gotten started?

Nick: JJ's reaction was that of a broken heart. He really felt something with Paige, and to hear that she's going to Stanford soon makes what he's feeling fleeting. So I understand his point of view. Why have something that won't last for very long with her?

MrsM:  JJ is young and naive and he knows nothing about love and relationships. This is his first foray into any kind of a relationship (that we have seen) and he is bound to make mis-steps. I thought it was a pretty real reaction and I hope he can figure out how to make amends.

Christine:  It wasn't the right thing to do but it was very realistic. He's a teenager who just got his heartbroken. He's not going to make smart decisions when he's hurt. I just hope we get to see he and Paige have some fun over the summer no matter what happens come fall. 

What was your favorite story or scene of the week?

Nick: Sami and EJ in the beginning of the week. Absolutely phenomenal.

MrsM:   I really liked the dream sequence of the reveal and I just wish it would have been real.

Christine:  EJ's nightmare about Sami seeing those photos just blew me away. Amazing performances by both actors.
