A dozen hopefuls arrived in Los Angeles on Food Network Star Season 10 Episode 1.

These finalists quickly met mentors Alton Brown, Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay, who helped prepare the contestants for their major debut at a Hollywood Premiere Party.

At this event, each chef was tasked with preparing and presenting one party appetizer to Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson, along with Hollywood insiders, including E!'s Ross Mathews.
