The Night Shift: Renewed for Season 2!

More hours are about to be put in on The Night Shift.
Multiple outlets (Variety, TV Line) confirm that NBC has picked up this hospital-based series for a second season.
The medical summer premiered in late May to a strong 7.8 million viewers, becoming the most-watched program for NBC on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. in four months.
Its ratings have only slightly tailed off since then, with last week’s episode pulling 6 million viewers and a 1.2 among adults between the ages of 18 and 49.
The Night Shift Season 1 will conclude on July 12.
