Marvel's Agent Carter is getting some assistance.
One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray and Dollhouse alum Enver Gjokaj have both been cast as series regulars, according to multiple sources.
Agent Carter is inspired by a short film that was included on the Iron Man 3 DVD titled "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter" and centers on Agent Peggy Carter in 1946.
When she's relegated to administrative work after the men return from war, she continues to build her career with private missions on behalf of Howard Stark.
Murray will play SSR Agent Jack Thompson and Gjokaj (currently airing in Extant) will be Agent Daniel Sousa.
Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) meets them both while working at the pre-SHIELD Strategic Scientific Reserve in New York City.
Agent Carter is set to be a gap series airing between the two halves of Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s sophomore season. The series will premiere in January 2015.
