TV Ratings Report: Dancing with the Stars Soars

Dancing with the Stars jived to 15.8 total viewers on Tuesday night, as Alfonso Riberio's victory was viewed by more people than had watched a DWTS finale since November 2012.
Elsewhere around the dial...
- The Voice (9.2 million/2.3) dropped 15 percent to a series-low demographic rating; Marry Me (3.1 million/1.1), About a Boy (3.1 million/1.0) and Chicago Fire (6 million/1.6) all fell pretty badly when up against the DWTS season-ender.
- NCIS (15.7 million/2.4) fell by 13 percent, yet out-rated a new episode of The Voice; NCIS: New Orleans (14.2 million/2.3) lost 16 percent of its overall audience; Person of Interest (8.9 million/1.7) held mostly steady.
- MasterChef Junior (4 million/1.5) and Mindy Project (2.3 million/1.1) were steady, but New Girl (2.8 million/1.3) fell by a tenth of a point.
- The Flash Season 1 Episode 7 (3.4 million/1.4) held firm, but Supernatural Season 10 Episode 7 (2.3 million/0.9) dropped slightly.
