Game of Thrones Season 5: New Teaser Hints at Bleak Future

at . Comments

For ages we've heard Winter is Coming, but whether it's right around the corner or not, things look rather bleak for some of our favorite Westeros residents.

In the latest teaser released by Game of Thrones, we are treated to glimpses of what's to come courtesy of a veiled look through the eyes of a crow. After all, Game of Thrones Season 5 is covering the book, A Feast of Crows.

Happy Sansa

We first see worried Sansa, followed quickly by an equally dour Tyrion. A tree with a face leaking sap like blood from its eyes comes right before a glimpse of the crow in flight.

Arya in a rowboat with the Braavosi captain introduced at the end of Game of Thrones Season 4 sweeps by before Cersei is seen behind a lattice from inside a carriage. She was last seen declaring her love for her twin brother, so she's probably in a bit of trouble.

We don't expect happiness from Game of Thrones, but let's hope we see some people putting up a bit of a fight.

In the first teaser released, we discovered Arya has gone rogue, and in a recent interview actress Maisie Williams said there's a big ending ahead for her character. "We're coming to the end now," the actress said, "so I don't know what they're going to do next year. It's the end of Arya, as far as anyone knows."

Wipe your tears before watching the clip!

Game of Thrones Quotes

Tyrion: Let me give you some advice bastard. Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.
Jon: What the hell do you know about being a bastard?
Tyrion: All dwarfs are bastards in their father's eyes.

Tis a big and beautiful world. Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don't want to be most of us.
