Days of Our Lives Recap: Serena, Love Her or Hate Her?

Is it just me, or does anyone else out there hate Serena? She started off harmless enough when she sauntered into Salem as Eric's old flame. Albeit, I thought the amazing love story that took place completely off camera was a little bit much and her friendship with Melanie felt forced but I was willing to roll with it.
Then she started slinking around Eric in her tiny t-shirt and hiding some sort of mystery evidence in her safe. Soon after she jumped on Salem's most crowded bandwagon waving the Let's Bash Nicole banner and I'd just had enough.
Serena hasn't been in Salem long but something about her brawl with Nicole, the way she sought out Daniel at the hospital and then Marlena deciding that poor, sweet Serena was just too naive to handle Nicole's evil ways pushed me right over the edge.
I think it's official now. I hate Serena.
My fervent hope is that Daniel catches on to Serena's mean-spirited, deceitful ways and teams up with Nicole to take her down. Now that would be fun to watch.
Speaking of mean-spirited, Chad baited Ben and then had him arrested. Admittedly, I felt bad for Chad as he stood there with his flowers watching Rafe and Jordan kiss but the right thing to do was to confront the two of them and then walk out. Instead Chad went straight for Ben and his bad temper in this Days of Our Lives quote...
From my experience, Abigail isn't nearly as good as your sister is in bed.

As much as I'm against violence there really is no other response but a punch to the face when being told, your girlfriend's not as good in bed as your sister.
We'll see if Clyde decides to retaliate against the young DiMera. Of course Clyde's got his hands full with Victor, even if he doesn't quite realize it.
Clyde: I greet each and every day with a smile on my face, Victor.
Victor: Most idiots do.
Clyde keeps dismissing Kiriakis as old and on his way out. I can't wait to see Victor take him down. Victor also got it right when he told Kate that Clyde was a lot like her first husband Curtis Reed. Arrogant and abusive. It's only a matter of time before she sees it.
Will continued to push Paul out of the closet, kicking and screaming if necessary. Will has turned into such a hypocrite. How can he stand in front of Paul and say he's with the man of his dreams when Paul's the guy with whom he's been sleeping?
We only got about four whole minutes with Hope and Aidan this week. Aiden's selling his beach house and snapping at every turn while Hope just stands there dumbfounded. I love Hope and Aiden but at what point does Hope decide to figure out what Aiden's hiding. She's a detective for goodness sake. Detect!
Were their any happy couples in Salem? Well, Melanie and Brady aren't quite a couple yet but they seemed pretty happy. I think the only truly happy couple was John and Marlena. I thought I'd lost all interest in these two but watching them this week made me think again. Perhaps some of their old magic can be saved. Time will tell.
