Another original hero is coming back!
Masi Oka will be joining Heroes Reborn in a guest starring arc, according to NBC. Oka played fan favorite Hiro Nakamuru.
"I'm excited to return to my Heroes roots," said Oka. "Hiro Nakumura was such an inspirational role to play, and I'm hoping the fans will enjoy seeing him back on TV."
Heroes and Heroes Reborn Creator and Executive Producer added, "The character of Hiro Nakamura was such a huge part of the first series' success, and a gigantic fan favorite. We felt the fans would really love seeing him back in action again."
Oka joins Jack Coleman, who is reprising his role as Noah Bennett, who will be one of the lead characters, alongside Zachary Levi, who was not an original Heroes cast member.
Heroes Reborn will air sometime this fall. Now we just have to wait for a catchy tagline like "Save the cheerleader, save the world." Surely they can outdo that one, right?
