The gang's all back -and once again fighting the forces of evil!
When last we saw Vanessa, Ethan, Sir Malcolm and the rest of the gang, they had suffered great losses fighting vampires and their own inner demons. This season, Vanessa is once again targeted but not by Dracula.
Showtime has released several photos from Penny Dreadful Season 2 Episode 1. In these, we meet some of the new characters as well as check in with old favorites like Victor and Dorian. Will Brona live? Will we see Dorian's portrait?

If you recall, Ethan massacred quite a few people in the Penny Dreadful Season 1 Finale. When Season 2 kicks off, his plan is to leave London. Luckily for Vanessa, they're attacked by a group of mysterious women. That's right, the threat is very human this year.
Elsewhere, Caliban continues to pressure Dr. Frankenstein. He wants his bride and he wants her now. Will Brona be brought back to life? If so, will she have any memories of her former self and the person who killed her? Will Ethan find out?
