TV Ratings Report: TVD, Bones and Backstrom Hit Series Lows

Neither The CW nor CBS enjoyed strong Thursday nights this week.

First, The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 18 garnered a mere 1.34 million total viewers along with a .6 rating among 18-49-year olds.

The former represented a 19 percent drop-off from the last new episode, while the latter tied a series low.

Reign, meanwhile, nabbed one million total viewers and mostly remained steady.

Elsewhere across the dial:

Bones (4.8 million/1.0) and Backstrom (3.4 million/0.7) each fell a tenth to series lows.
The Big Bang Theory (14.5 million/3.7), Mom (9.7 mil/2.2) and Elementary (7.4 million/1.4) each went up two tenths, while The Odd Couple (9.8 million/2.2) inched up one tenth.
On ABC, Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 20 (7.6 million/2.1) was steady, Scandal Season 4 Episode 19 (7.9 million/2.4) returned up eight and 14 percent, while American Crime (4.4 million/1.1) increased by two tenths.
