TNT has ordered Rizzoli & Isles Season 7, although it will be a bit shorter than we've become accustomed.
The 13-episode order will be the shortest since its 10-episode premiere season, but it doesn't seem there is any reason to worry about cancellation.
The series is currently the most watched show on cable and TNT's most valuable asset and historically it's most watched show ever, second only to The Closer.
Angie Harmon an Sasha Alexander renegotiated their contracts prior Rizzoli & Isles Season 6, and the supporting cast is expected to do the same prior to 2016.
