Gilmore Girls Revival: Coming to Netflix?!?

at .  Updated at .

For fans of Gilmore Girls, dreams do come true.

Although no official announcement has been made at this time, it appears Netflix has successfully negotiated the return of the series for four 90-minute installments helmed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson.

Earlier this year, the ATX Festival hosted a reunion of the Gilmore Girls and Sherman-Palladino mentioned at the time she would be open to a return to the series under the right circumstances.

If you recall, she wasn't officially on board the series as it made its conclusion, and wasn't able to end it in the way she originally intended, leaving viewers forever (until now?) hanging in the lurch about the final four words she had chosen to be uttered as the series drew to a close.

Whether these four installments will bring about those four words or if we'll be treated to more time with the Gilmores after the sure-to-follow mass hysteria and internet frenzy as a result of their release will remain to be seen.

For now? Rejoice. Revivals are the new reboot, and we could not be happier!
