Big Brother struggled to compete against the Olympics.
CBS: Big Brother (5.2 million/1.5 rating) and Braindead (1.8 million/0.3 rating) fell from last week's results. An encore of Madam Secretary (2.2 million/0.3 rating) was sandwiched between them.
NBC: The Olympics (29.7 million/9.0 rating) perked up in the ratings.
Fox: Encores of The Simpsons (1.1 million/0.3 rating), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.9 million/0.3 rating), Family Guy (1.1 million/0.5 rating) and The Last Man on Earth (0.8 million/0.3 rating) filled Fox's night.
ABC: Celebrity Family Feud (3.7 million/0.6 rating), The $100,000 Pyramid (3.4 million/0.6 rating) and Match Game (2.7 million/0.5 rating) were all in encores.
