TV Ratings Report: The 100 Returns Down
Paul Dailly at . Updated at .The 100 returned to The CW last night after a lengthy hiatus and the ratings were down considerably from last year.
This could be attributed to a solid lead-in from DC's Legends of Tomorrow last year when it was pulling in high ratings for The CW.
The CW: Arrow (2 million/0.6 rating) added some eye balls, while staying steady in the demo. The 100 (1.3 million/0.4 rating) returned to its former time period with decreased ratings.
However, it outperformed Frequency's average (0.9 million/0.3 rating) in the slot.
Fox: Star (4.1 million/1.3 rating) ticked up one tenth, while Showtime at the Apollo (3.2 million/0.8 rating) struggled.
CBS: Hunted (5.5 million/1.3 rating) was even, while Criminal Minds (7.4 million/1.3 rating) slipped a tenth. Code Black (6.8 million/1.1 rating) surged two tenths in the demo.
NBC: It was encores of Law & Order: SVU (4.7 million/1.0 rating) and Chicago PD (4.4 million/0.9 rating).
ABC: It was encores of The Goldbergs (4.7 million/1.1 rating), Speechless (3.7 million/1.0 rating), Modern Family (4.1 million/1.1 rating), Black-ish (3.7 million/1.0 rating) and Match Game (3.1 million/0.8 rating).
