TV Ratings Report: Designated Survivor Returns Up
Paul Dailly at .Surprisingly, Designated Survivor managed to return up in the ratings for ABC.
ABC: Designated Survivor (5.9 million/1.3 rating) bucked the split-season trend and ticked up from its December mid-season finale.
Earlier in the night, The Goldbergs (5.7 million/1.7 rating) and Speechless (5 million/1.5 rating) were stable, while Modern Family (6.5 million/1.9 rating) and Black-ish (5.1 million/1.4 rating) were down.
Fox: Lethal Weapon (5.9 million/1.2 rating) ticked down, but Star (3.9 million/1.1 rating) was stable.
CBS: Survivor (7.7 million/1.6 rating) slipped considerably from last fall's opener, while Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (5.4 million/0.9 rating) launched slightly below the Season 1 finale.
The CW: It was encores of Arrow (0.9 million/0.3 rating) and The 100 (0.7 million/0.2 rating).
NBC: It was encores of Law & Order: SVU (4.4 million/0.9 rating) and Chicago PD (4.1 million/0.7 rating).
