TV Ratings Report: Empire & SEAL Team Bounce Back

The trend has not been Empire's (6.1 million/2.0 rating) friend since the soapy drama returned in September, but the series secured a spike in both audience and the demo last night. 

Star (3.8 million/1.2 rating) failed to get a boost from a stronger lead-in, but it still turned in decent results. 

Hakeem's Betrayal - Empire Season 4 Episode 6

CBS: Survivor (8.7 million/1.7 rating), SEAL Team (7.2 million/1.1 rating) and Criminal Minds (5.6 million/1.0 rating) all inched up in the demo. 

The CW: Riverdale (1.4 million/0.5 rating) and Dynasty (0.7 million/0.2 rating) hit season lows in total viewers, but were both steady in the demo. The CW would be wise to ship Dynasty off to Fridays when Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's 13 episode order concludes. 

NBC: The Blacklist (5.9 million/0.9 rating)added almost 1 million viewers, but was steady in the demo. The Voice (7.7 million/1.4 rating) aired night three of the Playoffs on a special night and took a hit.

Chicago P.D. (6.4 million/1.2 rating) rebounded from its recent lows. 

ABC: The Goldbergs (5.6 million/1.4 rating), Speechless (4.4 million/1.1 rating), Modern Family (6 million/1.7 rating), American Housewife (4.9 million/1.3 rating) and Designated Survivor were all up.
