TV Ratings Report: Riverdale Dips, All American Steady
Paul Dailly at .The second week of The CW's new Wednesday line-up yielded (mostly!) positive results.
Riverdale inched down a tenth to a 0.4 rating (1.3 million total viewers). It's common for shows to tick down following a premiere, so this is a respectable drop for the teen drama.
As for All American, it maintained the anemic 0.2 rating (0.6 million total viewers) it premiered with last week. Being steady is good, but this show might be a little too low for The CW to keep around.
Over on Fox, Empire inched up a tenth to a 1.6 rating (5.2 million), while Star went the other way, posting a 1.2 rating (3.8 million). Empire may be down, but it is most certainly not out.
Chicago Wednesdays continued to resonate for NBC. Chicago Med had a 1.2 rating (7.6 million), Chicago Fire (7.9 million) had a 1.3 rating, and Chicago PD (7 million) had a 1.2 rating.
On CBS, Survivor (7.3 million/1.4 rating), SEAL Team (5.5 million/0.8 rating) and Criminal Minds (4.5 million/0.7 rating) all dropped a tenth in the demo.
ABC's The Goldbergs (4.9 million/1.1 rating) and Modern Family (5 million/1.3 rating) were both down, but American Housewife (4.2 million/1.0 rating), Single Parents (3.5 million/1.0 rating) and A Million Little Things (3.3 million/0.8 rating) were all steady.
