TV Ratings Report: Roswell, New Mexico Premieres Well
Paul Dailly at .Roswell, New Mexico debuted on The CW Tuesday night, and it scored respectable ratings.
The alien drama got underway with a 0.4 rating in the demo and 1.5 million total viewers.
It improved in the demo on time-slot predecessor, Black Lightning's average, so that's a big positive.
The true test will be whether the series can hold steady in the coming weeks or if will experience a big post-premiere drop.
Earlier on The CW's night, The Flash returned and matched its season low in the demo with a 0.6 (1.7 million viewers) rating.
Over on ABC, The Conners (6.6 million/1.3 rating), The Kids Are Alright (4.3 million/0.8 rating), Blackish (3.3 million/0.8 rating), Splitting Up Together (2.6 million/0.7 rating), and The Rookie (3.8 million/0.7 rating) were all in line with recent ratings.
NCIS (12.1 million/1.3 rating) built a tenth at CBS, while FBI (9.3 million/1.0 rating) and NCIS: New Orleans (7.3 million/0.8 rating) were all stable.
Fox's rotation of Lethal Weapon (3.2 million/0.7 rating) and The Gifted (1.7 million/0.5 rating) were flat.
This Is Us (7.7 million/2.0 rating) inched down a tenth, while New Amsterdam (5.7 million/1.1 rating) perked up a tenth.
