James King is a Navy Seal who ends up on a Zodiac in the Indian Ocean after an operation in Pakistan ends poorly. He and his remaining companions are found by the Colorado.
When Marcus questions his orders to attack Pakistan, the Colorado is struck by another US submarine. After the Seals Commander is killed, James takes his place as the leader of his team. He becomes a drunk, and takes orders from no one because he doesn’t see the point.
