After lawyer Jerry Vincent is killed in a parking garage, all of his cases are given to defense attorney Mickey Haller. One of Jerry's cases is the high-profile Trevor Elliot case which sees Mickey defending a video game designer accused of killing his wife and her lover.
Mickey works primarily out of the back of his Lincoln Navigator, with help from his first ex-wife, Maggie, his second ex-wife, Lorna, Lorna's boyfriend, Cisco, and his personal driver, Izzy.
