Noreen Fitzgibbons used to work at Serenity Family Physicians with Bill. They had an affair, and she became pregnant. This made things tense with Maddie and the Townsend children.

Noreen eventually becomes close to Kyle, Townsend's middle child. She attends his play and is vital to his recovery after his car accident.

Noreen realizes that Bill isn't healthy for her and originally leaves Serenity and only returns when she hears that Kyle needs her. She has Rebecca with the support of the Sweet Magnolias.
