It's about time Valentine put his foot down. Instead of waving that stele around, Clary could be helping him finish making breakfast.

Valentine probably thinks this little game Clary is playing is cute, but aren't 18-year-olds a little too old for silly games like this. And, seriously, does Clary really think that little stele will hold back Valentine if he were to erupt into monster form? Not likely, but wouldn't that be cool?

Silly, Clary, waving around that stele like it's a toy. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry just in case Valentine is still the "Big Bad" Valentine in this alternate world...and I use "Big Bad" veeeerrrry loosely.

The boys must've had a pomade party before the big party. Magnus with slicked back hair is too much. Alternate world or not, Magnus would not be caught dead looking like this.

Can you just hear Clary now? "Oh, my God, Simon!!!" Had Simon not shown up, would she really have cared? Her BFF? What's that?

Simon and Izzy have arrived! I wonder if Valentine wishes it was Simon dancing with his daughter instead of Mr. Cool. Why does Izzy have to be "nerdy" to be Simon's girlfriend in this alternate world?

It looks like Jace and Clary's plans to go somewhere more private are foiled. Did they get caught by dad?

Ugh. Get a room, guys. How long is this song, anyway? It seems like you two have been cheek to cheek forever.

It's evident these two are in their own little world.

Even if Valentine was looking, I don't think Clary and Jace would care. How is this alternate world any different from the real world with these two?

Who's got the better hair? Clary's hair is always perfect, but Jace's hair looks pretty good slicked down like that. Aren't they the cutest?
