Former SNL star Jan Hooks guest starred on this episode as Jenna's mom.

Jenna, and Jack's mommy issues, formed the crux of this episode.

Liz's story, meanwhile, was at least the third time she's had a TGS staffer crash at her pad and led to another one of those climaxes where the whole gang watches a horrifying video of Liz.

As Verna, Jenna's mom, Hooks was terrific and really fit the character perfectly.

Of course, Jenna had to go to the only person at NBC who could possibly empathize with her about having a bad mother, and that would be Jack.

Sadly, she was not on the show in person, but we did get to see a picture of a frowning Elaine Stritch during Jack's slide show presentation to Jenna.

Meanwhile, Kenneth had all sorts of crazy ideas and observations that he made at the end of the episode, talking to Pete at the table.
