Agreus wakes up, and he and Imogen continue to argue about their place in The New Dawn.

Imogen alerts Agreus that Leonora will kill him if he doesn't fall in line.

After they argue, they end up making up and making love.

Castor arrives, and Agreus tells him that he wants to be happy with The New Dawn for Imogen's sake.

Castor takes Agreus and Imogen with him and reveals that it's the anniversary of the revolution.

Agreus and Imogen continue their plan to stay low and safe, for each other.

Agrues gets taken to a lower basement area to meet with Leonora. she holds a gun, and empties all of the bullets except one.

She points the gun at Agreus but then gives it to him with the one bullet loaded in it. No explanation.

Suddenly, she brings Ezra from around the corner, tied up and helpless.

She gives Agrues the option to kill Ezra.

Agreus cocks the gun as Ezra begs for his life.

Agrues spared his life, and now Leonora puts Ezra in Agreus's charge.

Imogen insults Ezra on his stupid plan.

Ezra continues to defend himself on family honor, and Imogen threatens him, saying that he's lucky Agreus got the gun and she didn't.

Agrues convinces Imogen to include Ezra in their escape plans.

Seven years ago, at the fall of Tirnanoc, Philo fought in the war.

During one of the battles, he saw a menacing and threatening creature that ripped the guts out of his fellow soldiers.

The creature spared Philo's life.

Philo watched the creature turn back to its human form.

She washes the blood off of her in her human form and told him that he's part pix.

The name of the creature is a Sparas.

Philo was ordered to set fire to the valley native to the Sparas.

Philo gives the order, and they set the valley on fire. The Sparas scream as they burn.

Present day, Philo is upside down being tortured.

Philo gets blamed for all the deaths that happened at Bleakness when it really was just a coincidence.

Philo gets tortured, but Dombey stops the torture just in time for Philo to hallucinate himself.

Vignette arrives just in time to witness her home being abused by the police.

She escapes and finds Tourmaline, and they embrace each other.

Tourmaline takes care of Vignette.

Tourmaline tells Vignette that Philo tried to break her out, which was news to Vignette.

Tourmaline learns that a Sparas saved Vignette, which makes her sick, as she knows the creature is coming to kill her.

Philo continues to hallucinate himself.

Vignette wants Tourmaline to run and wants to go with her.

Tourmaline turns down the offer because she loved Vignette too much.

Millworthy gets cleared of all charges and offered a higher position in government, but declines. He's still covered in blood.

The Major tries to convince Millworthy to take power and tells Millworthy about an impending war with the Fae.

Philo's friend in the police goes over the warden's head, because they all want to catch the Sparas.

Kaine finds Vignette, and everyone is scared.

Vignette turns down The Black Raven. She refuses to help them any further.

Vignette goes back to Tourmaline and wants to help save her, which is why she turned her back on the Black Raven.

Philo agrees to help the police find the Sparas as a way of getting out of prison.
