The Dancing with the Stars Grand Finale began with an entertaining routine that featured past contestants, the judges, and even Erin Andrews.
Bethany and Derek's freestyle was chosen as the encore performance, despite the fact that they had recently been eliminated.
There were also special encore performances from previously eliminated contestants including Jonathan Bennett, Betsey Johnson, Michael Waltrip, Lea Thompson, and Tommy Chong.
Some of the more fun moments of the night included outtakes from dress rehearsals and a tribute to Fresh Prince of Bel Air. But there were also special performances by Nick Jonas, Jennifer Hudson, Meghan Trainor, along with several performances by the pros.
For the final round of the competition, the remaining three contestants were challenged with the 24-hour fusion challenge. That means that each couple was assigned two styles of dance, and then developed a routine that incorporated both in just 24 hours.
Sadie and Mark danced a Samba / Quickstep fusion dance that earned a score of 40, despite the fact that Len said it wasn't perfect.
Janel and Val were given Foxtrot / Paso, for a routine that Julianne said was "seamless." They also earned a perfect score of 40.
And finally, Alfonso and Witney danced a Cha Cha / Argentine Tango fusion that the judges loved. Like the other two couples, they earned a perfect score of 40.
Results were announced at the end of the night. So who won the Mirror Ball Trophy?
The winners of Dancing with the Stars Season 19 are Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson!
