Recap

Sheriff Boyd walks down a dilapidated street, ringing a bell, signaling it’s time for the townsfolk to head indoors.

Lauren and her daughter Megan wait for her husband, Frank, to come home, but he’s passed out elsewhere. Later, Megan opens her window after an older lady appears in her window, and she and her mother are brutally murdered.

The Matthews travel in their RV and are forced to turn around after encountering a downed tree in the road.

A funeral service is held in town for Lauren and Megan, and the Matthews arrive in town during it. They stop and ask for directions, which Boyd gives them, though they soon realize they are driving in a constant loop and ending up back in the same town.

Boyd and Kenny prepare tire tracks to stop the Matthews next time they drive through town, but the Matthews get into a car accident with another vehicle.

Boyd and other townsfolk race to the accident to help.

One of the men in the other car, Toby, is taken to the local infirmary, where a strange girl, Sara, sits by his bedside.

Young Ethan Matthews is stuck in the RV with a rod through his leg, and Paramedic Kristi works on him inside the RV, while Tabitha and Julie are whisked away from the scene and back to the town before nightfall.

Sara kisses Toby before killing him.

Tabitha, Julie, and the rest of the townsfolk head back to town, but they are forced to run to the Colony House after hitting the tire tracks.

Boyd stays with Jim, Kristi, and Ethan inside the RV and puts a talisman in the window as the night falls. He puts a talisman in the window, and soon after, people surround the RV once night comes.
