People watch the UNSC broadcast on Madrigal and are less than impressed with it.

As they watch it, they say negative things about the UNSC.

Kwan and her friends leave the sand dunes and go searching for Madrigal.

However, they encounter the Covenant on their travels and find themselves in a fight for survival.

Everyone but Kwan is killed, and she sends a flare back home.

When she gets back, there is a brutal battle when the Covenant's guardians arrive.

The Spartans touch down and try to save everyone, but there's a lot at play.

The kids are all killed, leaving no one alive but Kwan.

As she tries to thank Master Chief, he and the others leave her behind.

They later find her in trouble.

The rest of the Spartans find an artifact and are shocked to realize that it reacts to Master Chief. We see visions of what can only be described as his past.

When they leave, Master Chief is taking Kwan to the UNSC.

Miranda asks Kwan to make a video broadcast and she says that she wouldn't because the UNSC is terrible.

An order from above tells Master Chief to murder Kwan. Halsey reduces the oxygen on the shop to zero and 40 in his suit.

This leaves them open to be taken out. However, Master Chief overrides it with the help of Kwan and they are put in even more danger.

Admiral orders that they brought off the ship, while Halsey tells her Spartans to save Master Chief at all costs.

He touches the artifact again and it takes all of the power out of the UNSC area, but miraculously, the shot down ship works. He and Kwan leave the place, embarking on a new journey.
