Mickey gets into a tussle with Octoface as they fight each other outside the poolhouse.

• Rachel shoots at Octoface to stop him from attacking Mickey.
• When they race into the poorhouse, Ashley is gone.
• Mickey only has Ashley's necklace when Spoon and Ema climb through his window. He tells them the latest and they tell him about their Dylan Shakes revelation.
• They also realize that Mrs. Friedman was the head coach of the baseball game.
• Hannah is still sexting Shira.
• Spoon asks Mrs. Friedman some questions about Dylan Shakes. He lets it slip that Dylan went to Dr. Kent the day he disappeared and Mrs. Friedman knows he's keeping something from her.
• Shira meets Hannah at a building that is becoming her new restaurant. It's an impulsive move that she didn't even tell Kent about, and Shira is shocked by how Hannah is behaving.
• Whitney and Ema open up to each other and continue to connect as Whitney does Ema's makeup.
• They share a moment and almost kiss.
• Mickey has basketball tryouts.
• Troy gets pissed off that Mickey is doing so well and elbows Mickey in the nose giving him a nosebleed. It starts a fight, Spoon joins in to prevent Buck from sneaking Mickey from behind and Ema jumps down and takes her shirt off to give it to Mickey for his nose. When she walks away, he sees the butterfly on her shoulder.
• Hannah and Shira are interrupted with texts about the fight. Ken tries to defend Troy and blame Mickey, but Hannah shuts it down. The coach said they both have to get along to be on the team.
• Mickey tells Spoon about Ema and is suspicious.
• They follow Ema home and she catches them. They discover she lives in a massive mansion.
• Her mother is Angelica Wyatt, the actress that Spoon is obsessed with.
• Mickey realizes that Abeona is the name of the charity that his parents works for and what his parents did.
• They decide they want to break into Agent's office to look around and see if they know more about Octoface and the tattoo.
• Spoon asks for a tattoo from Agent and they say the spirit guides the design so they'll make Spoon a temporary one.
• Mickey goes through Agent's office and finds a photo of his father and Octoface in the background of a photo.
• Agent gives Spoon a tattoo of a heart with a dagger through it and tells him that he knows Spoon jokes to cover pain and loss and he'll experience more of it. He leaves a spot for a name and tells him whenever he wants to put a name there, come back.
• Angela talks to Ema and reminds her that her friends were her friends before they knew who she was and she's glad that she's coming out of her shell more.
• Mickey flips out because he doesn't know what his parents were wrapped up in and why he knew Octoface.
• They share a moment where Spoon comforts him, offers to go to his father's grave with him, and reassures him.
• Mickey goes to Rachel and asks her to help him run Octoface's plate number through Troy.
• Hannah presents a dish to her family. They are blase about it and Ken is mad that she sold out Troy. She tells him that Troy was lying and Troy admits it. She tells him about the restaurant and it's an argument.
• Rachel and Troy talk things out and she tells him that she's helping Mickey look for Ashley and that she and Mickey aren't a thing. He tells her that he thinks his father is sleeping with Shira.
• Ema tells Whitney about her mother when they hang out.
• They tell each other they like each other and kiss.
• Spoon and Mickey go to Brad's grave.
• Mickey tells Spoon that he feels empty at his father's grave, like he's not even there.
• Spoon and Ema head to the hospital to see Dr. Kent, but when they get there, they see that a black van and some mysterious people take him away.
• Rachel and Mickey show up at Octoface's house. Rachel has the gun for comfort.
• they want to tail him.
• They follow him to a club and see the same guys that tried to take Ashley.
• Hannah shows up at Shira's crying about everything falling apart.
• Whitney tells Buck about Ema's mom being Angelica Wyatt.
• Mrs. Friedman puts up a poster for a memorial for Dylan and recalls having a run in with Dylan's father about his actions. Dylan's father comes up later, drinking, and thinking about his son as he stares at the poster.
