Law & Order: SVU Season 19 Episode 4 focuses on the issues of cyberbullying, social media, and teen rape.

A perky high school student named Mandy has a video blog in which she shows all the fun things she and her friends are doing during their sophomore year. But that all changes after a party at which someone undressed Mandy and wrote slurs on her in marker. Mandy runs away, leaving a blog behind in which she says she's done with her so-called friends.

Mandy's continued social media use allows SVU to quickly find her, and she admits she was raped at the party. The party was with her friend Stacey, who left early, and three boys, including her friend Andrew that she's known since she was six. Mandy remembers nothing because she smoked a joint and got super high. However, it turns out Andrew kissed her when she didn't want it and then went further.

All three boys are arrested in front of the entire class in order to teach everyone that actions like this have serious consequences. However, this backfires as other kids begin bullying Mandy and she decides she can't testify. To make matters worse, one of the other perps also refuses to testify after he is bullied.

Rollins and Benson convince Mandy to come forward, and Andrew ends up pleading guilty. Then Mandy asks a favor of Benson.

Meanwhile, Noah's grandmother makes a move to try to gain custody of Noah and cut Benson out.
