Law & Order: SVU Season 19 Episode 22 features an intense standoff after a young woman takes a man hostage who she says raped her years ago.

When Lourdes Vegas runs into a man named Miguel at a club, she asks him if he remembers her. He claims not to. They go back to an apartment and start making out, but it quickly turns deadly when Lourdes pulls out a gun and then ties Miguel to a chair. The whole thing is being filmed on a webcam and someone alerts SVU.

Lourdes finds the camera and rips it out before continuing to torment Miguel, who she claims trafficked and raped her years ago. Miguel insists she has the wrong man.

Benson ends up going in without backup and finds a cp being held hostage along with Miguel. Lourdes holds her hostage too, but she connects with her as a fellow person with PTSD following sexual assault and is able to talk her down.

Miguel keeps asserting his innocence and Lourdes gets more and more violent, while Benson continues trying to talk her down. Meanwhile, the other cops search for Benson.
