When you watch New Girl Season 4 Episode 17 online you will see how much people truly fear spiders. When Schmidt gets a spider swatted off his pant leg by Jess he decides to call an all out war on the spider. Jess invited Cece over to help with the search for the spider and teams are formed to go after and kill it. While at the apartment Jess also wants to figure out what is going on with Cece, but she is not offering up any information. Jess than goes to Winston who doesn't want to say anything but somehow Jess puts together Cece is into Nick when she sees the two of them having an animated conversation. Jess is at first not happy with this potential union but she soon comes around and even locks the two of them in a room together so they can hash out their feelings. When they come out of the room Nick tells her they decided to get the popcorn machine Cece has been bugging him about and Cece tells her she never had feelings for Nick. Cece finally comes clean and tells Jess she is still in love with Schmidt but she can't do anything because he is in a relationship with Fawn. Meanwhile, when Schmidt thinks he killed the spider he is in for a surprise when it shows up on his face and he naturally freaks out. Thankfully Fawn shows up and she is able to calm him down and slap the spider to death.
