Sunja arrives in the village Yoseb lives in, and things aren't the best, but Sunja sees more Koreans and feels slightly more at ease.

They arrive at Yoseb's house where they meet Kyunghee, his wife.

She is a kind woman who has prepared food for them.

She presents them with white rice, which causes Sunja to break down in tears.

Solomon meets a friend from school for dinner, where he reveals that Solomon's life is screwed.

Solomon's friend warns him about Tom and how he may betray Solomon for losing the deal.

Yoseb and Kyunghee discuss Sunja and Isak.

Yoseb doesn't approve of their marriage, but Kyunghee wants to give Sunja a chance.

Sunja and Isak have an emotional conversation about their futures, and how Sunja is grateful for him.

They kiss and confess their nerves to each other.

They continue and have sex.

Naomi tells Solomon that she saw him dancing in the rain.

He tells her about his feelings at that moment and how he felt that he was on top of the world.

Naomi confronts Solomon about Hana.

Naomi urges him to try and find her, but he doesn't seem too keen.

Naomi claims that the landowner's plan was to humiliate Solomon the entire time.

He retaliates by calling out some of the insecurities in her life.

Sunja wakes up in Osaka one month later, getting used to the life she has now.

She helps Kyunghee hang the clothes, after sleeping in late.

Sunja breaks down when she can't smell home on her clothes anymore.

Kyunghee gives her words of encouragement, as she cares for her sister-in-law greatly.

Grandma Sunja takes Kyunghee's ashes and spreads them off the pier in Busan, returning her sister-in-law to her homeland at last.

Debtors arrive at Sunja and Kyunghee's house when their husbands aren't home, claiming that Yuseb owes money.

Sunja claims that in a few hours she will provide them with the entire amount.

Sunja plans on selling the watch that Koh Hansu gave her.

Sunja knows the debt was from their boat fair to Osaka and vows to pay it off with the watch.

Grandma Sunja wants to find her father's grave, which was moved during modern construction.

A note was left with the official's office, from Bokhee.

Solomon goes on a long, reflective walk looking for Hana.

He runs into an old family friend, Haruki.

Grandma Sunja reunites with Bokhee, and they embrace emotionally.

Sunja tries to sell the watch, but the shopkeeper gives her issues.

She insists that he pay 300 yen for the watch, even though he won't budge.

He eventually pays for it, as Sunja is extremely headstrong and won't take no for an answer.

Kyunghee doesn't want to go to the money lender's office; she thinks it's improper.

Sunja vows to go on her own.

Bokhee and Grandma Sunja reunite and have a long discussion about Donghee, their mother, and the war.

Bokhee reveals that Donghee killed herself in the river where they washed their clothes.

Solomon goes to Haruki's house, where he meets his family.

Sunja goes to the moneylender and pays him in full, removing the debt from their family.

Solomon shares a lovely meal with the family.

Grandma Sunja visits her father's grave, thanks to Bokhee taking care of the relocation.

She reminisces on the past and prays over her father's grave.

Solomon offers Haruki money, which he declines.

They say their goodbyes.

Sunja and Kyunghee arrive home to an angry Yoseb.

The shopkeeper sells the watch back to Koh Hansu, and he claims that he knew all along she would sell the watch.

Koh Hansu gives the man 310 yen for his troubles.

Solomon calls Tom and Tom tells him that the bank is firing him, which means he won't be able to go back to America because his Visa is sponsored by the bank.

He gets a call from Hana begging him to come to her because she is dying and doesn't want to die alone.
