Raq tells Kanan that Howard is being released but that he doesn't remember anything. Raq takes him to the towers to show him how the business is now run, as they are now the only show in town. Kanan overhears Raq, Marvin, and Scrappy talking about keeping the building happy and her desire to expand even further.

Marvin is ordered to anger management classes.

Unique is still in jail, but there are rumblings he may be getting out.

Kanan confides in Jukebox that he isn't sure the business is the life for him any longer.

The family has dinner together, and there is still a frostiness between Jukebox and Marvin. At the same time, Raq ad Lou-Lou butt heads over his continued prioritization of the studio.

Howard watches Kanan, and his friends interact from the street.

Raq tells Marvin and Lou-Lou that she wants to gather Unique's old crew so he has nothing to go home to when he comes home.

The police raid Scrappy's illegal card game, and Howard catches him being interrogated at the station.

Lou-Lou brings in Zisa to sing for Crown. Later, it's revealed that Crown and Jess are sleeping together, and he's gotten her a job in Los Angeles.

Kanan admits to his mother that he's not sure he's cut out for the life. She reassures him that everything she does is for him.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 2 Episode 1 Quotes

Burke: Howard, whoever shot you is still out there. And Homicide doesn't have any suspects at all right now. I'm concerned about that. You should be, too.
Howard: I'm only concerned with the shit I can control. Look, when you stare death in the face like I did, you start getting real philosophical about shit. Like the song says, I think very deeply.

I never let anything happen to you. I got you. You know I got you.
