Ronnie carjacks a man and then goes to Unique’s house to tell him he’s flipping the car and will no longer be staying there.

Kanan speaks to Famous about the business, and when confronted by Raq about what he’s up to, he ignores her questions.

Gerald and Marvin eat at a diner, and Marvin tells him about Jukebox, thinking he could write about her for the newspaper. After offending Marvin, he tells him about Deen’s murder, prompting Marvin to leave abruptly.

At the shopping plaza, Raq finds one of the storefronts has been vandalized. The cops soon stop by, telling her she has code violations they can make go away if they see a return from her, but she declines.

Lou-Loy tells Shirley they need promotion for the club.

Police descend on Famous outside his apartment complex and arrest him.

Marvin visits Raq at the shops, and he tells her about Deen’s murder, and she tells him about the cops trying to shake her down. Marvin then invites Raq to the open mic at Café Vous.

Kanan finds out Famous got arrested.

Unique takes Ronnie to the Chinese restaurant and tells Ronnie he wants him to run it. Ronnie says no and then asks Ronnie where he’s getting money from, not believing he doesn’t have other work.

Iesha struggles at dance rehearsal practice with Jukebox and Crystal, prompting Jukebox to offer to help her.

The cops confront Famous about knowing Freddy, pulling out an incident report they have placing Famous at Freddy’s address a few days before the shooting.

A social worker stops by Raq’s for a home visit, but Kanan never comes home. The social worker agrees to let it slide but warns that Kanan will be removed from the home the next time he doesn’t show, and the case will be sent to family court.

Lou-Lou goes to his mother’s to get records to play at the club, and she chastises him as she feels she’s not being taken care of by her children.

Howard hears from a colleague the task force isn’t necessarily buying the Crown angle, and Howard offers to ask around, as they all want the task force gone.

Ronnie goes to Juliana, who reiterates her desire not to work with Unique or anyone related to him.

Famous gets out, and he and Kanan argue at the apartment, as the money is now gone to the cops, and Famous is upset Kanan didn’t get him out. Famous tells Kanan about killing Freddy, and Kanan instructs him never to repeat it.

Lou-Lou gets a local radio station to hype the open mic.

Both Raq and Unique attend Deen’s funeral and talk outside, where he tells her he knows Ronnie killed Deen.

Ronnie tells Pernessa Unique has been sleeping with Raq.

Kanan continues to ignore Raq at home, where she warns him about missing the social worker’s visit.

Pernessa confronts Unique about Raq, and he walks out on her, proceeding to search the streets for Ronnie.

Demo meets with Agent Tanner as a favor to Howard, and he tells them he saw Crown at the projects. When Tanner asks about Raq, Demo says her street name, prompting Tanner to want to take a closer look at her.

At the open mic night, Kanan asks Jukebox if he can speak to Iesha, and she says okay.

Tanner brings Raq in and asks about her involvement in the record label. Later, her lawyer informs her he’s confident she won’t have to worry about the FEDs.

Unique finds Ronnie, and the two fight before Ronnie kills him. He then proceeds to dump Unique’s body in the woods.
