Emily's past catches up with her when her foster brother, Eli James, recognizes her as the real Amanda Clarke. After agreeing to accept Emily's money in order to start his life over, he decides to stay in the Hamptons to extort the wealthy who live there.

Jack grows suspicious of the Graysons and Nolan and Emily and goes in search of answers about the night Amanda died. He learns a description of the man who brought him to safety and believes that person to be Nolan. Nolan, however, tries to convince Jack that Kenny Ryan saved his life in a crisis of conscience.

Emily learns that the foundation the Graysons are setting up in Amanda Clarke's memory is a way for them to hide their assets should there be a criminal investigation into their lives after the Initiative carries out its latest plan. Emily and Nolan attempt to bankrupt the Graysons only to run into a hacker known as the Falcon.
