The collector arrives home, and the Crows try and attack her, but she's a formidable opponent.

Kirigan threatens the orphans at her old orphanage.

Nina and Zoya arrive to try and help the Crows fight Ohval.

Baghra sacrifices herself for Alina's sake.

She starts casting her magic at Kirigan to make his shadow monsters attack, and she gets mortally wounded.

Kirigan goes to comfort Baghra, and she cuts off his hand, severing the connection once and for all between him and Alina.

Baghra dies in the real world, so she departs the vision.

Morozova's hut burns.

Kaz managed to find the other person in the house, and threatened hi to stop Ohval from killing everyone.

Phval is revealed to be Sankta Neyar, the creator of the blade they are trying to steal.

Ohval decides to give them the blade, specifically Jesper.

Ohval insults Jesper by calling him a terrible Durast and wants him to be a better Durast.

Jesper and Wylan make up.

Alina and Mal arrive at Nikolai's army camp.

Mal reveals to Alina that he's the Firebird.

Mal and Alina have sex.

The chemist fuses part of Baghra's bone dust into Kirigan, and he retrieves her last memories, including the identity of the Firebird.
