Holston tells his deputy to meet him in Holding Three. He goes in the cell and throws the key out.

He tells the deputy he wants to go outside.

We head to the past and learn that Allison has applied to have a child again, something that will be her final chance.

They have a year, so Allison gets her birth control removed.

She and Holston don't have much luck getting pregnant and Gloria tells her that she thinks the people running the Silo are preventing it.

Allison works Founders Day and is curious why George has been so persistent.

He has a drive from the old days and it has answers about the Silo, something that she is scared of.

She rushes home but returns to him soon after and they find a video of the outside world, as well as a blueprint that shows a tunnel.

Holston returns home and finds Allison bloodied. She found the real birth control device and cut it out of herself.

She heads to the cafeteria and says the Silo is a sham and that she wants to go outside.

It's a big moment and one that changes everything. She goes outside and tries to clean the window, before falling down and dying.

George has also killed himself.
