Recap

Kendall is meeting with a reporter for lunch. She thinks he's quite concerned with how he's going to come across. He says that the family business is image. She wonders where he is with his siblings. He answers that he's really happy in his headspace and he hopes they're happy in theirs.

Roman asks the new president, Shiv, how she is in her headspace. Karl and Gerri are chitchatting when they all get together to visit Logan. Logan hopes Gerri isn't acting too much as acting CEO. Logan is running everything, being nasty to Gerri.

They hear that Kendall is coming out, and Logan doesn't want to see his face. They're talking planting a flag, and nobody is eager to see the others do it.

Hugo's new tag line, "We get it," gets laughs. We get it, stop talking about the rapes. We get it, kind of like those ladies did on the cruise ships. Logan's assistant has feds on the line. They want to serve a subpoena. Logan wants her to tell them to fuck off. Everyone freaks out a little.

Despite advice, Logan keeps the message as fuck off.

Tom screws with Greg by telling him Logan says they have to take cyanide pills. The look on Greg's face. They're mints.

Tom wants to give Greg a new office. It's a file room with a bunch of trash in it. Greg realizes that he's being punished for not accepting the company lawyer and all that jazz. Tom says he's gone Waystar because he thinks it's the best idea. Tom wants to meet with a friend to get a feel for where things stand, and he invites Greg. But Ken is giving him a watch.

Shiv and Roman banter.

Kendall and friends are in a limousine dressed to the nines and drinking champagne reading bad and good tweets about Kendall.

Nate is at the dinner, and Ken and Shiv chat with each other awkwardly. He wants to know how Logan is. Kendall apologizes for his behavior at Rava's. Shiv thinks they're both aiming for the same thing. She's feeling good now that she's the president. Kendall calls her on it. Kendall says it's her now, and he feels sorry for her.

Logan thanks Shiv for meeting feeling up Ken, but he also feels bad when she's out there and doesn't say anything nice about him. Logan asks Shiv if she trusts him. She says yes, but she's not feeling it. She wants to know what is the worst that can come of this. He wants to keep Shiv clean. He lies and says he didn't know about any of this shit. But she says he was on the emails.

He promises that she will not find a piece of paper that says he's guilty. She's still not pleased with how it's going. He's just BSing her.

Greg really thought that Kendall was buying the watch, but he's not.

Kendall finds a woman named Sophie ripping him a new asshole. He makes everyone watch it, but it's not nice. Kendall says it's just being in the conversation, not backlash.

Shiv and Tom have a veiled discussion. Tom's friend said it's very difficult to see a world in which this John Doe doesn't go to jail. Tom wants to get out in front of it if prison is likely. Tom wants to go to Logan and offer himself up as the feeding post.

She says it is kind of smart. A win from a no-win. If he goes to prison or if he doesn't, it would bank points with dad. But she doesn't really want him to offer himself as a sacrifice. Too many people are kissing Logan's ass.

Kendall is watching Sophie again. He decides right then that he's going in.

Tom offers himself to Logan. He'll step up and go down. Logan says it won't come to that, but thanks him.

Tom calls an attorney looking for Greg Hendon. Then Greg calls Tom to let him know that there is something he may want to know.

Logan talks with one of the president's advisors. Logan makes a threat. If he's hung out to dry, he'll hang the president out to dry, too.

Kendall makes an appearance, but his card is gone. Kendall doesn't care. He's heading in. It's quite the production. He wants to be there for the town hall. And then he thinks that someone is messing with the air conditioning.

A security guard checks in with Kendall trying to intimidate him.

Shiv is walking to the town hall. She begins her speech, and it's a decent speech until Nirvana's Rape Me begins playing over the loudspeakers. Shiv is startled and walks out. Kendall's office is filled with boxes for the equipment. She spits in his day planner.

Logan apologizes to Shiv. Now, do you see?

Kendall and his gang, Greg included, are in the green room for a TV show. Kendall just does whatever he wants, even walking past the producer.

Shiv has papers for Connor and Roman to sign denouncing Kendall. Neither one of them are interested when they see the words. Connor calls it a times new roman firing squad and even Roman says it's pretty horrible. She says it's all basically verified, so... Connor begins to read. Drug addict, serial liar, absentee father, history of his own problematic relations with women.

Sure, it's true, but once it's out there, it's out there forever. Roman isn't signing it. It makes him feel unwell. It's not in his best interests, but no. And Connor isn't giving his signature away for free. He wants some dick sucking. She'll do it herself, then.

Kendall doesn't know if he should still go on or not. He wants them to steer away from the messages. Sophie is going to tear him a new asshole if he goes on. He has decided to back out. The producer thinks that since it's a comedy show, he should go on. Sophie is fair.

I hope he runs for the exit.

Ken finally feels alone. Damn Jeremy Strong can sell me on anything. He goes into the server room and falls to the floor.

Shiv changed her letter, and it was gut-wrenching.

The FBI is at Waystar again. Logan tries to get them to go away again, but Gerri pushes, and Logan acquiesces. Hugo delivers the message to Tom, who is hosting a dinner.

Shiv watches from home. The FBI infiltrates and seizes everything.

On the floor, looking at his phone, Kendall shows a slight smile.
