Kyle is upset that Nellie dumped him, and he doesn't know who's been leaving him the carnations. Ty reassures him it's probably someone wonderful who he's known for a while.

Noreen visits Helen wanting a formal agreement for child support. Helen cautions her since Bill isn't officially on the birth certificate and suggests mediation instead.

While Cal and Maddie practice their tango, his ex, Vicky, calls, wanting to have dinner. He insists Maddie come too.

Dana Sue tells the others there isn't money to have an expensive vow renewal. Maddie and Helen offer to plan it instead. They don't know what to do about the cake because of Erik.

The teens have a plan. Kyle has the supplies, CeCe will ask the interim mayor for help, and they drew up plans to build a fantasy play structure.

Cece was bitter that Ty wanted to go to the Mayor with her, but Lily thinks the Townsend boys take control and action like their mom.

Maddie and Helen meet with Grace and Neville, who offered sandwich platters for the celebration if they're invited. They said so many people love Dana Sue and Ronnie and want to help and celebrate with them.

CeCe tells Kyle that the mayor approved the plan, and Ty admits he learned a lot from his mom. They both apologized for how their break up went and are becoming friends again.

Maddie and Cal meet Vicky; her boyfriend was Drew, the guy Cal fought with years ago. Cal tells Drew and Vicky he does carpentry now and warns Drew that retirement is a big change.

When the ladies are alone, Maddie tells Vicky that she won't come between them, so she can stop trying.

Lily stops by, and we learn she's the secret admirer. She likes Kyle because he doesn't try to be different. She asks him out for pizza.

Dana Sue and Annie fill favor bags with Jordan almonds. Annie tells her mom she's learned what kind of man she wants.

The Magnolias give their outreach speech to the Church, and it passes.

Dana Sue figures out something is wrong with the planning. She calms down once she hears they can hold everything at a barn.

Ty visits Helen, and she's so proud of how he's grown. They discuss how change is scary, and she encourages him to go after what he wants. Ty tells his mom he wants to take a gap year after high school.

Annie hints to Dana Sue at the same time Howie hints to Helen that they should call Erik.
