Erik and Helen have an emotional breakup. Erik maintains if Helen knew what she wanted that, she would have sent Ryan away. He can't deal with another ghost. He brutally says their friendship is over too.

Isaac comes into Sullian's early and finds Erik a mess. Erik admits he and Helen broke up but can't discuss it, so they focus on the menu.

Paula is painting a portrait of the ladies when Ryan stops by. She warns him to remember how long he was gone and not hurt Helen.

Ty confronts Cal for hurting Maddie with all the gossip floating around. Cal reassures him he's trying to change, but Ty says the vultures are feasting.

Ronnie tries to warn Annie about Kathy, but he becomes upset. He and Dana Sue want to throw her a massive bash for her 16th birthday, but she'd rather have something low-key.

Cal stops by Maddie's, and they decide to be friends, so she goes to bingo with Paster June and watches her flirt.

Both Helen and Erik are grieving. Annie stopped by with lunch and to get some advice that only Aunt Helen could give.

Bill took Ty to his therapy appointment that Tyler missed and attempted to bond with his son and find out what was bothering him. Later, Ty told Maddie he skipped his original appointment to confront Cal and defend her.

At Margarita night, Maddie tells the ladies how she and Cal will be just friends for a while. Harlan, Trotter, and Erik support Cal through his time of need before attempting to beat him at hoops.

Kyle pleads his case to Mary Vaughn so he can date Nellie. Helen said no to Ryan's proposal. She needs him to stay in Serenity too.
