A man gets out of his car and walks into a bar. There, he strikes up a conversation with Marlin over beer. He spots Marlin's scar and reveals he's a cop.

He gets out and calls Stan and tells him that he has evidence Marlin was at the Rockefeller Centre shooting.

Rya talks to Danny about when some of alters started showing up. The first was Yitzhak when Anabelle's boyfriend attacked Danny.

Rya informs Danny that she plans to use insanity as his defense in court as that might be the only thing that saves him from a life sentence.

He consults with Stan, who doesn't agree. He says they should take a plea deal because there was no way to prove Rya's theory.

Marlin asks Candy whether anyone has been at the house asking questions about his whereabouts during the Rockefeller shooting.

Danny learns that his roommate has met his alters.

Jerome, Arianna's boyfriend, visits. He doesn't know he's not talking to her and is disappointed to find out.

Flashbacks show how Arianna and Jerome met, cutting between Danny and Ariana.

Rya talks to Danny about what role Ariana played. She was the keeper of his emotions and loneliness. She could also have sex with people.

Marlin is subpoenaed to testify for the defense.

Rya has Danny recall the times Yitzhak had saved him from Marlin and Angelo.

Jerome visits again; this time, he's more sensitive toward Danny and his condition. They talk about Ariana.

Jerome recalls meeting and falling in love with her. Danny looks happy for the first time in a while. Jerome gasses him up when he expresses fear about the future.

Marlin goes to see DA Patricia.

Danny and Rya talk about Mike and Jonny.

Danny hesitates to talk about Jonny, but in his mind, he remembers what Jonny had to do with Angelo to get drugs.

Jerome visits again and says that was his last time as it wasn't fair to them both. Danny allows Ariana to say goodbye.

Stan calls Rya and tells her what Marlin has done. He was now the prosecution's witness, saying he could prove Danny had a violent past.

Jonny steals a paper clip.
