Finn tells Alicia that he wants to be her new parnter. She's thrilled and the two take on the case of a client being held in secret police facility where they won't allow the man to see his lawyer. They take it to court but it takes several days and a lot fo manuevering to get the proof that the man was arrested but not mirandized nor allowed access to his lawyer. Later, Finn admits that he and his ex-wife are giving their relationship a second chance but when he realizes there is still chemistry between he and Alicia, he tells her they can't be partners. When Lockhard, Agos, and Lee fire Louis Canning's wife who is working as a paralegal under her maiden name, Canning is furious. He later goes to Alicia and asks if she wants to be partners. Peter wants to run for President but Alicia does not give her blessing and Kalinda returns to say goodbye and tell Charles Lester that he needs to stop hunting her or she will turn over information about his dealings with Lemond Bishop.
