Each reset that note is ruined by Shiv's blood. Wes calls in George. A second singularity has appeared but is collapsing. Wes thinks the only one smart enough to build one would be the abducted Janet. George is more careful about disposing of Shiv's body this time, sinking it in a river. In Shanghai, Archie interrogates Zhang's sister, who gives up the name of Zhang's hotel. Archie walks into a trap and is gunned down. But time resets. George informs Shiv what's happening before Shiv dies. This time, Sarah, who George stood up, catches him loading Shiv's body into his car. So he spills everything to her. To convince her, he takes her to headquarters. They end up in bed. Archie intimidates the truth out of Mei this time. Archie and Zhang struggle then Zhang shoots herself. The Chinese also have the time serum. Zhang informs Archie she doesn't know where Janet was taken. George led the Chinese to Janet. This time, George runs down Sarah. Archie confronts George and demands he find a way to keep Shiv alive. A scientist helps George decipher Janet's note. The Chinese lettering at the bottom translate into "time machine." Zhang tells Archie where Janet is being kept. George offers Sarah a syringe with the memory serum that he stole. After the reset, George summons his neighbor Reggie, a paramedic. Rebrov informs Wes that someone has broken through the checkpoint and sent Janet back in time to London, 2012. She texted the message, "It will be worth the wait," to Rebrov in that year, when he first asked her out. He knows where she's being held.
